Orthia vs The GREAT Unwashed

Admittedly, I have been busy with the demands of running Orthia these past couple of weeks as we undertake the process of merging the philosophies of our proud former alliances. We have orchestrated our attack teams so that they are growing, and adapting to the evolving world that Alpha presents. There are new challenge each and every day as some new alliance decides to join battle against us.

With the merger, Elite Olympus Warriors rose amidst those seeking to cause us harm. Their attacks are sporadic and often times filled with biremes. It is battle-points, so my gus do not mind overly much. Granted, EOW deserves some respect for in an ocean that they have a 265:40 adantage they have managed to take cities. Quite impressive....well kind of.

We hear rumors of Evil JOKEr partnering with Thunder Gods who are partnering with Spartan Hoplites to kick us out of O64. We hear that the Descendants Of Leonidas are joining some "SUPER Alliance" with Spartan-Achaean Phalanx, THE MAP OF ALL ENDING and a list of other developing (lame) alliances to see Orthia removed from power.

Besides a few notable players who have the misfortune of belonging to these alliances, and the strong players in Thunder Gods who we respect, this rabble of players is an interest to us. We wonder if 10000 newbs with 5 cities each can work together. I mean logistically it makes perfect sense that they would have success....right? The game gets tiring. It gets weary. Farming becomes a chore (I would use a different word but some have a sensitive nature as it concerns a female dog). The devs could help us out by making the management of larger accounts easier on us, but they are more interested in the never-ending supply of people paying for these games.

So, as one of the leaders of Orthia, I would like to welcome all the Great Unwashed in this grand experiment we like to call a browser-based war game. We are not worried about your attacks. We are not worried about sustaining losses in a particular theater. We joined Grepolis to execute our will upon a hostile group of uncivilized barbarians (that would be you). We will press on with our stragtic objectives, and when we come into conflict wiht you it will be cheerful and rewarding. So please do us the honor of bringing your very best against us and never back down from the fight. We have so many easy targets we need to gobble and so few City Slots due to the assinnie construction of this game. We would much rather prefer to earn the cities with our superior tactics and firepower.

I'll be happy to oblige you cocotte. But a word of warning. We usually respect our opponants. But those that have mailed taunts to our members in the past have ended up Rimmed. So dont mail any of our members again. War is supposed to be a civilised passtime. At least try to be civilised.

At we aren't called EOW for no reason. That's usually what our opponants end up saying after we're finished with them.

During the last big push, I even gave your members main attacks some spell bonuses because I felt it was too one sided. If providing handicaps is not a sign of gentlemanly conduct, I fail to see what is.

Good luck with that Remember what happened when you guys try to attack us in 76 and ended up giving us tons of BPs. So don't brag about yourself.

And lightning bolt is not a way "elite" people do things. They conquer. So don't bolt our members.

Now Wrooney, don't be so mean. EOW are a friendly group of people who wish to give us gifts of cities but are also kind enough to provide the culture points in order to take them, so as not to put us out of hand.
We should be grateful for their generosity and consideration.

Oh really? I took some cities from EOW already. No one from EOW ever retaliates by attacking me, but bolting when I farmed them My cities will fall if you guys have the guts to attack. But teach your troops how to swim. And if you want my cities, feel free to send me your CS. I will make sure it is safe to land in my harbor

Sometimes we keep inactives to farm. You took 2 of their cities. You can check for yourself on grepostats.

I fail to understand the significance of a taunt on grammar rules. Further, I am not that clear as to where you believe such errors occurred. Your attempts at repudiating the comments offered are weak and insignificant.

Well if you say tunnelrat is inactive, who I cleared the other day for one of my friends to conquer, then I have nothing to say The guy doesn't even know how to keep his troops to break the siege but sent all his troops to attack him which is 16 hours away What a joke!

When I took them, they weren't inactive until they lost the cities and you guys kicked them out. That's when they went inactive

And you guys took some cities from us because that's the ocean you guys outnumbered it. Not because you guys are strong enough. Even your strongest player doesn't even know how to properly attack. Sending biremes in an attack? What a failure right there.

In addition, I am not your son. Thus, I would assume you are associating some master/slave connotations from the slavery days of the deep south in the US. I would prefer that you keep such bigotry to yourself.
