I really haven't been given the diplomatic run around by many people in my four years here. Especially while they are launching attacks and demanding that we stop counter attacking. If it weren't for prior conversations and reassurance I would figure that the leaders were either trolls or blithering idiots. They are neither, however, very intelligent and good players. Just a shame to see that is how they chose to do things. I guess their allies should fear MG more than their enemies.

see there is always an eliment of story telling in all things no matter if its in game or in forum. As ive said before its easy to get a bad impresion of a team from forum posts.
heres a little thing that alters the tone of all the previous posts
im aware and i know others are that acid have intel coming from mg so i doubt there was much suprise lol
i have great respect for both acid reign players and mg i know lots of each team and there all good players and nice people as well
this whole thing is a bit like the pot calling the kettle burnt.
having spys in a allie is underhand but a nessesary evil at times and if your aware of this then i think its a case of fighting fire with fire to survive
there is a lot of propagander in forums its important imo to be deserning and well informed to determin the truth.

well as much as i understand and believe your sentiment even personal opinion or the way you express your thoughts can effect other peoples perception of the facts unwittingly. so ill always keep an open mind on most subjects.
there is a saying goes somthing like this

Considering Acid Reign had a spy in Morning Glory and still does so they knew exactly what was planned long before a lot of Morning Glory members did - saying that - the Operation has gone really well in Ocean 45

they may or may not have been but in the topic of this convo i dont se the relivance
it was insiuated that mg was underhand in its tactics of not droping the nap before attacking but if acid had a spy in mg then it was hardly a suprise and the subsiquent posts in forums are mear propogander
maybe its because ou both had spies that mg new you had spies in there camp but on this aspect im only speculating

I'm simply stating my experience on what happened with MG and my alliance. It seems to match what happened to AR so I thought that we were starting a story sharing circle.
I'm in no way trying use propaganda to skew MG's name. I understand that they have something to gain. However, running around and using low ball diplomacy can come back to haunt someone. That kind of stuff gets out and creates spies. That's all I am really going to say in that regard.

Thanks for the compliment but please allow me to clarify about Clocks. We were not a premade alliance. There are 4 of us who played in the same alliance in Eubea - we independently came here and just happened to join together in an alliance. The current team is a combination of noobs and experienced players with emphasis on being active. We actually have a lot of noobs; most of us have played in 3 or less worlds but you wouldn't know it from how quickly all of our team has caught on to the subtler nuances of the game.
The advantage of having so few members is that we're able to teach noobs a lot of more advanced techniques rather than having to discuss the importance of LS escorts repeatedly. Or reading an all caps post on the forum that they're being attacked. Been there, done that. Instead, we're able to discuss the importance of Island Quests, Heroes, attack/defense construction, etc. And we're all learning stuff from each other; it's not just the noobs that are learning.
We've expanded a bit recently so we have a few new members who are getting used to our way of operating - I expect we'll have the kinks worked out in the next week or two. We reject most applicants. I do not envision our alliance moving up much more in the stats; we aren't willing to sacrifice the brotherhood we're able to foster with so few members in exchange for maxing out at 50 in order to generate a higher alliance ranking. So we'll probably remain a second/third tier alliance for the duration.
I'm very proud to be a part of this alliance and wouldn't leave it for a spot in a higher ranking alliance. And I hope/think that everyone else on our team feels the same.
Footnote: Kudos to our diplomat. He's been able to negotiate pacts that have kept us from getting steamrolled by larger alliances.

dont know about your case but in regards to acid they had a spy in mg so there was no suprise . the point ive been making is often people leave out as many facts as they post and this can be misleading.
your post above seems to paint your experiance and acids in the same light when ive already confermed before this post it was not.
so you can see my point that often inadvertantly and due to how we post information it can be missleading.
i know in most cases its just acidental or like i said inadvertantly done but thats why i say its important to keep an open mind when alliances apear to be demonising each other.
