being number one defender isn't much to brag about unless you have the attack bp to back it up, without the abp it just means your alliance is good at getting attacked.

Just because you are losing cities doesn't mean you're bad at defending, it means that the team conquering your cities spends more money on gold than your alliance does

Or maybe they just defending wrong. Having so much DBP tells me they are simply stacking for BP rather than focusing purely on the only attacks that matter which would be CS attacks. If you know your enemy can rebuild via gold in an hour or 2 you need to limit your loses by only taking out attacks you know you can easy take out (badly escorted troops nukes and CS's) then dodge the rest.
