well actually the roman gods were actually the greek gods just named after the planets. for example, in the roman religion zeus, the god of the skys, was named jupiter after the largest planet since zeus was the king of the gods after he was the one to defeat the titan kronus. if the gods on this game were roman than their names would be jupiter (zeus), juno (hera), minerva (athena), neptune (poseidon), and for 2.0 version pluto (hades).
i love greek/roman mythology but i'm a little rusty on it now, but i'm 100% sure that the roman gods didnt use the same names for the greek gods.
