The Dumbest Attack Ever!

I colonized a city recently that as of today had not reached 1000 points. However, Evo decided to attack it, why I don't know, but Lavrentios sent this attack and lost everything! This has got to be the dumbest attack ever. Thanks for the BP!

Why not colonize one here or there? You guys do it too. So don't act like its something bad. You don't get to decide what is bad and what is good. Its just your opinion and you know what they say about those! Why don't you let Lav answer this? Or is he being placed in the corner with a dunce cap on?

I am not stopping lav from answering this but to be honest I don't recall seen him post on the external forum before (I maybe wrong on that but I don't remember him been on here) so if he don't read the forum not much chance of him seen this. As for us colonizing cities I can honestly say I have only ever done that on WW islands, as for anybody else who may have done it, I seemly am not allowed answer for them. Now for my knock out blow on the dumb attacks thing........................

I have a load more of these saved if you'd like me to post them? Some of them are even belong to your good self, if you'd like to see how you compare to lav on the dumb attacks front?

What's dumb about that attack? It has a fair number of LS, to ensure that the transports aren't sunk unnecessarily, and enough land troops to clear whatever a regular 1k city can produce. Forgetting a revolt is something that even the best players are guilty of on occasion. It seems that the only thing about it that may be slightly naive was not to precede it with a spy (which he likely did), or to send attacks before the CS (which he may well have done, you don't say).

Nothing dumb about that attack itself, and it certainly isn't "the dumbest attack ever". If you consider instead his attempt to conquer a 1k city to be dumb, then I'd be forced to ask why that is dumb, yet colonizing a city is not. Clearly you have enemies, so while you waste time and troops to defend a newly colonized city and then post on the forum about how "dumb" other players are, you could have been conquering larger cities..

Um, what you both are failing to see is that the city was not in revolt. That was his first attack. Duh! Make sure you analyze the whole picture before you go off half cocked with your apparent intelligence.

Your post murty doesn't even come close. All it does is show is your lack of attention to detail.

Well I don't know about you Zoddy but when I'm launching an attack I hit select all units and some times I launch CS with normal attacks, granted I normally noticed before its too late but I wouldn't call it dumb. Its just an over sight, however sending attacks with no ls (which you are famous for) is what I would call dumb!

Then again I guess this proves that our troops are so well trained and organised that they make so little mistakes that you guys have to latch on to whatever you can. Its amusing really to see you make such a big song and dance over such a small thing, its not like he has been trying to take that city for 5 months and failing. Lastly, fyi I would have no way of known if that city was revolted or not by looking at that report so your last post is just another of those silly meaningless statement which you make so often.

Now are you seriously suggesting that his 1 attempted CS, forgetting the revolt, is more 'dumb' than repeated reports that I have seen from your alliance with unescorted transports? His attack earned him BP at the very least, even if sending a CS without revolt is not the smartest idea. Unescorted transports are just a hilarious way to give your opponents free BP.

And yes you are right that city is not yours now, I guess that totally proves me wrong when I say you were unable to take it. Are you really going to keep up this "I never wanted that city" stuff, I mean you claimed it twice and even sent a CS the 2 times you revolted it. I mean if that's not trying to conquer a city what is it then?
