Now, now, dont throw a tantrum or tell everyone how good you are. We dont want to go posting how many CS we have sunk of yours or how many escorting biremes(yes biremes) that we sunk of Musketeers. For all of your boasting, notwithstanding the mishap with UB, you guys who launched hundreds of attacks have only managed to take 5 cities(if you include UB(3)) and they guy so far out on the border of O45 he might as well be in O35(2) so really, dont on about how good you are.

I did not state how good we are! I was just writing down numbers thats all. And yeah I might could have left the CS stories but hey well its all about the fun isnt it? Dont take it personal and if the Musketeers take one or two or three cities with hundreds of attack doesnt matter they are all just numbers and who is better will only been shown by time. We are just in war for a week or so so nothing has been proven better or worse! Time and Teamwork and leadership will show which Alliance will remain. So may the better Alliance win!

Well, considering that you guys (The Musketeers) had a while longer to prepare, even had planned the strike on Tiny Teddies prior to breaking the pact (which shoes you what kind of alliance they really are- not even giving us a 24 hour warning message.) Why's that? Scared to give us a heads up or just wanted the element of surprise? Either way, wouldn't have helped them much at all. Certainly hasn't thus far.

That being said, you have not conquered a TT city from an ACTIVE player. Please keep sending 10 LS escorted Colony Ships. Definately makes us drunks a happy lot.

I thought this was supposed to be about the top 12 alliances. Got a beef between the teddies and musketeers? I suggest a new forum topic.

Tiny Teddies: Good alliance, respect many of the players.
I am too far north west to really do anything in the war, but I'd say TT and Musketeers are pretty well matched at the moment..Things change.

Musketeers: My own alliance, won't get around to too much boasting, but I will say we're doing very well.
Yes as Basil said, we're bumping around 2nd and third...I started this post we were third, looked back at rankings and we were second.
It will probably take a coordinated effort to do any real damage to TT, but all coordination has ended up in failures so far.

Alpha Centuri: I believe there's one of these alliances on every world recruiting all of the greatest players...All of them.
Personally don't like them.

Grimm Sleepers: Seem like a very well placed, led alliance to me, haven't really had any interactions with them at this stage.
Basically half the amount of members as Musk's, and only 1 million points behind us.

-ABZ-: Judging from what I've read I'm guessing these players are the left overs of CJ...Below GS the alliances are in a different league all together. If they have any of the original CJ in them they'll eventually catch up.

Memento Mori: Don't care.

Black Plague: Don't care.

Noctis Venators: We all know what the acts of war are. Thanks for letting us know though.

KNIGHTS OF CHAOS: I believe we're at war with them, but not sure if we've made any moves against them.
Horrible alliance.

The Valkyries: seem like a decent alliance, hopefully it climbs up the ranks by conquest an not recruitment.

ALLIANCE OF TAURUS: Spread out, bad position, lots of members, but good leader.

S.B.Makedonia: Don't care.

Just my opinion.

TT took me out in the first weeks of Phi, but they recruited me here. I may be their undoing yet.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

As my name has been banded about thought I might have a say about how disjointed Tiny teddies are. They are almost run by a 16 year old that does not talk to his other leaders. I was taken into hospital after telling Cheezehead i was having health problems. When i did come out i found that i was not in an alliance anymore.
During discussions with Basil i was offered a leadership to look after the smaller players in the alliance because the bigger players did not want to help them.
Everything here i can back up as I have the messages from him.
Also Metalcore has doubts about Cheezehead. Who did send an apology to me if thats what you can call it.
Anyone wanting proof just drop me a MM

The bigger players as you say, didnt want to help the smaller players? I said to you in that message that we offered you a leadership position so you could instruct the smaller players and help them. I didnt say that we wouldnt help them, I said the morale in the game made it extremely difficult to help them. I also said that while we were prepared to help the smaller players, they first had to ask for help.

While you were wronged by us Uncle, we did our best to rectify it. You know how hard we tried, but I guess you are not very forgiving. If you had taken that leadership role, you may have helped us, and our smaller players, but I guess it was just easier to join Musketeers instead of accepting our apology and taking some responsibility to help our smaller players in the game.

Also, though cheeze may be a 16 yo, there are many 16yo's in this game who are competent players and leaders. They have the killer instinct and are a lot more forgiving, understanding that mistakes are made, but dont bit*h about it behind their leaders back. Just because a player is older, it doesnt necessarily make them wiser.

I agree in a way Basil I'm 17 and seem to be a decent leader i don't like bragging so ill move to cheeze who seems to be a good leader with a good understanding of this game....

maybe you guys made an impulse decision with uncle but sadly were human and make mistakes
Right???

I agree there are many great players that are young and some are good leaders.
But in my experience with Cheezehead every time there was a op put togther it seemed that certain players were offered first choice. I know that the game is played on a 24 hour clock. But when a op is put together and targets are selected then those not in the time zone of the leaders should get a chance to take a target.

1) Tiny Teddies:

First of all: Tiny Teddies. That's right. Tiny. Teddies. Outright horrible name for a grepolis-alliance, utterly random and totally lacking class, in my opinion (but fits well with their leader's pathetic nick ^^). All major alliances have been able to come up with decent designations except for TT. Still leading in most point categories (though other alliances have been catching up massively). Been able to poach a significant number of former ATTK-members, Gythium's richest player gold-wise among them. Their favourite strategy: Win by sheer numbers and raw force without bothering too much about tactics and strategy. Had an easy time with this approach versus smaller and less organized alliances, but are now struggling with several wars against major alliances. No more easy bullying for the bullies, therefore I wouldn't be surprised if TT becomes relegated to tier 2 in the near future, as bullies can't cope well with opposition and resistance. Nevertheless, as much as I dislike them, I gotta admit that TT includes a significant number of decent, experienced players who are a nightmare to play against ^^

2) Musketeers:

Strong, well-organized alliance with a sound strategy and game plan. Should topple the Tiny Teddies anytime soon. A possible weakness: 97 players. I wonder whether they all really contribute in a beneficial way.

3) Alpha Centuri:

The Musketeer's major contender for TT's inheritance. Maxed out with 100 (sic!) players. Nevertheless, they also seem to follow a sound strategy and know how to dominate and persist.

4) Grim Sleepers:

Excellent individual players who can pull off amazing stunts. Able to pull off a well organized, reliable defense but always good for epic failures when it comes to organized, coordinated attacks (and at least in the area I'm located in, tactical planning is almost totally disregarded and frowned upon). Low player count, which I think is a good thing. Going to stay near the top, but with the founder MIA and their top player gone (due to RL-issues), I have massive doubts they'll ever have shot at becoming Gythium's no 1 alliance.

5) -ABZ- (successor of Carpe Jugulum)

Somehow, Carpe Jugulum used to be my favourite alliance (even though I haven't read the book). Personally, I experienced them as the Romulans of Gythium, mysterious, seclusive and pretty much unknown. They were so secretive that they don't even seem to know themselves what actually happened to them when Carpe Jugulum disbanded ^^
Don't fight much, somewhere between major alliance and MRA, don't really see them as a contender regarding the top 4.

6) Memento Mori:

Don't know much about them, seem to be an average alliance, nothing spectacular about them that I would know of. Not convinced.

7) Black Plague:

Same as Memento Mori, 100 members, that's just triggering all MRA-alerts. Not convinced either, I'm sorry.

8) Noctis Venators:

MRAish alliance with tough luck, as they are facing determined Grim Sleepers who are preying upon them. However, they got an academy alliance, so you might claim that they deserve all the beating they can get. Besides, "no trader will be dealt with kindly" what's that supposed to mean?

9) KNIGHTS OF CHAOS:

Name says it all. And as if the key word combo "knights" / "chaos" wouldn't be enough to undoubtedly indicate an MRA, the founder(s) found it necessary to emphasize that fact even further by going ALL-CAPS. *shudder*

10) The Valkyries:

A name similar to that of Musketeers, low player count but high average points. Appears highly professional to me. An alliance which will most certainly climb up the ranking ladders and might very well challenge the major alliances sooner or later (if you don't consider them one already anyway).

11) ALLIANCE OF TAURUS:

Another MRACA (mass recruiting all caps alliance) in the top 12. Absorbing the leftovers of disbanded alliances, desperately trying to be taken seriously and/or getting into pacts. Either ignored (due to morale modifiers) or conquered (as soon as their cities become juicy targets). I pity them. Incidentally, I disapprove of naming an alliance "Alliance".

12) S.B.Makedonia:

MMRA (Macedonian mass recruiting alliance). Not an ALL CAPS name but an ALL CAPS profile: "[...]WE WILL BECOME THE BIGEST HERE LIKE ALEXANDER III THE GREAT WHO CONCQUIST THE WHOLE KNOWN WORLD FOR THAT TIME". Highly amusing stuff, srsly. Pathetic profile texts ftw =)

13) Who Are Those Guys?:

Name says it all. Would have deserved a special mentioning, even if they hadn't climbed to 13 already. 13 players with a point average of Alpha Centuri. Leaves me wondering who those guys are. Maybe communication therapists, as you may contact them in order to just talk about things.
