Wow! Great work and effort. Impressive stats, just one question. Your DBP came "only" from those 3 alliances that you named or they include KD, Black Seal and Olympian Rednecks? Did you exclude them in ABP in your rankings or they did not attack you in last week?

I excluded Black Seal (LordFussy), KD, Legionarie of Shadows II and Olympian Roughnecks because they are part of the coalition, but have had minimal impact. It's too much work for me to compile all that data.

In the past hour, J Marcus held off a joint conquest from The Black Seal and KHAL DROGO. More than 40 attacks and they failed to land a CS. LordFussy attacked with 22 medusae and only managed to kill 155 units. We rushed a wall up from level 4 to level 25 in less than two hours. Hahaha

Bear in mind that "United MRA" ABP gains include all the random players from a dozen oceans, so not all of those gains were against Paragon. Less than half of that ABP was gained from attacking Paragon, though it would be difficult to add up the hundreds of battle reports to tell you the exact number. Basically, kill ratios have averaged in the 3 to 1 range since the coalition started attacking.

That's all fine and dandy, but.... you forgot to add up their DBP vs your ABP... you haven't faired well at all there, & that increases the participation percentages from alliance members significantly. If you're going to try to wow us with statistical information... post all the relevant information, not just the info that's going to halfway make your alliance seem like it's fairing ok in the battle. 3-0 right now.... & if it weren't for an impressive expenditure of gold, LordFussy would have taken the 4th city.

Their DBP? We're barely attacking, so that's not relevant. The above statistics describe the assault upon us, nothing more. I'd say there's plenty of information and I'm not skewing things to make us look better. It's black and white.

We are 20 members against hundreds and we're holding the line. My defense is only a small portion of my entire army. You call that turtling? I call that embarrassing for you. Keep feeding us battle points, please. It's much easier to defend.

Your MRA took much longer to train that offense than it takes us to replenish. Eventually your coalition will get tired of throwing away soldiers and stop listening to leadership. I, however, can continue this way indefinitely.

The top defender in Paragon earned a maximum of 19,371 DBP in one day.
The top attacker in United MRAs earned a maximum of 4,103 ABP in one day.

That's the most important comparison to understand.

The three cities you've taken are from an inactive player. I didn't even know they were in revolt, so celebrate all you want, but it's a hollow victory. Two of the conquered cities are in O43, an ocean that I have no interest in. You're way down in O55 so don't pretend like you had any part of an O43 conquest.

BP doesn't win this game? That's a pretty ignorant statement. BP means culture and if I can drain half this server of it's offensive armies I'm killing two birds with one stone.

in the end, the game is won by resources. Culture points aren't just gained through BP... BP is actually the most time consuming & inefficient way of gaining Culture Points.... they just happen to be the most fun way to gain them.

Why is the target relevant? I'm not gonna break down of our troop movements on an open forum. That's just stupid.

I can tell you that we have no open claims at the moment, so the gains are mostly likely from farming raids. The remaining ABP came from my failed attempt to revolt a Legionarie of Shadows city. I'm not surprised at my failure because it's the first time we've attacked this super turtle with 150+ members. I missed a launch and placed my blunt nuke a few seconds prior to my light ship attack. It's the first and last time I'll ever make that mistake. The attack was retaliatory and on a whim. I let my emotions get the better of me, but I knew when to cut my losses and never put a CS in the water.

Think I don't know that? I throw 25 Olympic Games per day. However, I'd still be leading in culture points if VP's were the only way to gain CP because I'm #1 in fighter ranks.

You're talking about the age of world wonders, which I'm planning for, but we're a long way from that and a lot will happen between now and then. Notice our stronghold island is nearly full already. Good luck cracking that nut. You're being premature by assuming I haven't considered the necessity for resource production in late game.

By the way, Mr. Tangent...you keep taking this thread off topic in an attempt to get under my skin, which is failing. This topic probably belongs in world discussion.

Quantitative... your alliance lost 3 cities, & couldn't even mount an offensive worthy of a revolt in retaliation.... sounds pretty Quantitative to me.

You can say you intended to lose them, or they were inactive & didn't matter all you like. Or, you can say that it was a mistake that caused your revolt to go sour... claim it's only because they have so many members to help defend.... It doesn't matter your excuses, you lost those cities, & you couldn't retaliate properly.

When you or SM take cities from other alliances you brag about it like it's some huge accomplishment (You more than SM, by a ton)... when what really happened most of the time, is you "trimmed some of the fat". You've taken a few cities from our more active players.... but it cost a lot of troops to do so, & a week's worth of constant assault on our cities. SM can't even take a city they've had under constant attack for a week now at least, and you're putting bounties on people, because you couldn't revolt his city yourself. Talking as if them attacking their former member is dishonorable or something when he decided to betray them in the first place. You wouldn't have waited so long to do the same exact thing to one of your members. So what's your point?

You surrounded yourself with spies, yet you call them loyal.... not as loyal as you would think. Even members of your alliance think lowly of you because of your attitude.

Call me names all you like, you don't bother me one bit. I've been called worse by more important people. It just shows your immaturity, & how low you're willing to go just to make yourself feel good about yourself.
