Jamo Times Issue 6 - The 'Final' Final Issue
Editorial : Well Lads and Lassies , Zdravo!! You are exactly 25 days til the start of WW.. well exactly shall we say exactly-ish..Quick crown hunters roll up and jump on the bandwagon. Apparently Apoca will take you, and are inviting spies in from TD too ( at this stage the apoca council could be made up with spies and Td would still lose - calm down GGN its a joke). Now Far be it from this newspaper to accuse anyone of breaching the rules *ahem*.. but .... it would be fair to say En.72 has 1 or 2 shared internet connections (not breaching rules so far right shark?!)..and it might also be fair to say that a lot of these shared internet connections not only like fighting for the same alliance but must have internal household disputes as they appear to be in separate warring alliances.. Where is the proof you ask - well i can't for the sake of the rules name names but i can provide you all with a little censored light reading -so read on .
Other news : Easter is here..Inno are an especially religious sort of lot and celebrate Easter for the full 19 days as stipulated in the lost testament of the Apostle Ker-ching. I'm sure one or two of you are happily lining pockets of our friends in Hamburg (please bear in mind their relatives bombed my Grandmother next time you click 'buy gold') Jamo tip of the day : if you are UK based you are getting robbed , set up a PayPal account scroll down from UK to Czech Republic and pay in Crowns you'll save about 10% on your gold transaction. I am pleased to see its not as endemic as the speed 3 servers where you get 30 Manti in 6 hours so everyone is going Bananas but still I'm off to go be a white slave in Kuwait for 18 months and have to say i won't miss Grep or what has happened to it in the past 12 months..any way - OFFTOPIC
The externals ground to a halt in the last week when Apoca were accused of turning a player into a Sweetie or something..i'm not sure what happened ,suffice to say much urine was extracted from a Welshman who will be very conscious that Headers can't be edited next time he ventures into PnP territory-but it did give us all a light hearted laugh so thanks beefy- PnP 101 by Jamo is available for download on iTunes.

I really regret not getting this done sooner, i have had some fantastic submissions. I was going to add the Cosnuta saga to this but i felt it deserved its own PnP piece( reference en.72 Cosnuta -gold lemming)..Zt sent in some great reports , Jon went ahead and published some as i have been a bit tardy with this issue - but hats off for not printing what you are all about to witness here. This next bit was so good i had no less than 4 players from 2 different alliances submit this to me.. i am calling it ARRRGGHHH!!!!! harbour check is coming DON"T PANIC!!
I believe (correct me if i am wrong) The player involved may be a member of a large alliance and even in their council - quality.
1.Why does one wisdom an attack? Not a trick question..
2.Why does one Zeuses rage an attack? again no tricks ..
3.Why does one Seastorm an attack? (my guess would be after points 1 and 2 cos its a massive hairy sea attack - but I'm wrong)
4. And finally why does one cast Desire on an attack?
Now think on all these questions very carefully cos your about to see something very, very special -how to react to a harbour check the TD way( yes any neutrality went out the window -but Td members you have to see the funny side to this-he is on your council right?)

For obvious reasons i think this is the best thing i have ever seen in Grepolis.. I once had a city saved by 2 archers, i recently beat a 775 k players CS at my only city of 2k with just my militia, i have even sniped a cs with 20 LS before but nothing beats this..I once saw 2 guys kissing in a park -and that was the gayest thing i ever saw til these reports
I do have so many other reports, cs escorted with only fast trans, the usual attacking with BRI, defending with slings, the 1001 spy attempt on TARTAN BLUE ..for those not in the know he is EN.72 biggest player ..but what is the point in putting any of these up after this? Its so bad its good -i'm actually unsure if the player was doing this sarcastically its so bad..Killer -yes you are

I would put OL up but no point - more life in a tramps vest, Tesla well i have it on good authority that Froggy chased their no 2 or 3 player into vm with 3 attacks.. MP - still not sure whats going on there but do let me know when your merging with Apoca ( i presume that your morales and epic stand against political in fighting will go out the window when WW comes).. Tesla time to join TD also and ZT when is this merge happening... and will TDr still pull it out the hat - you may laugh at this but i have seen bizarre things happen at ww -the fact that none of you have merged means (and no offense intended) you all still aren't really sure what your doing -yes apoca are organised but you need ZT to secure the win ..your still not merged...what are tesla exactly? I could ask that question to 100 players and get 100 different answers..why are none of you pushing thru. There is still a big part of me that thinks if Tdr get their act together and the simmers come to life SC and co will be on here in 6 months eating humble pie...

So a few allegations have been plastered (ha ha! that negative innit -mainly 'plastered' by me!!) On the externals. I could print of what i know here, i could name names and shame people and cause it all to kick off and depending on reaction i still might but i want to take the high road for once . Players who had suspicions about other players have been shown their suspicions were correct in game by PM. It aint for me to take it further but i hope the involved parties learn from it in the sense that there was extremely underhand practises going on in this server, in breach of rules and they still go on today..players are alleged to be Double accounting, players have admitted to having SIC when previously denying and while i don't expect a full or frank confession from any party i just hope you realise as much as i play like a SOB i play within the rules of the game. IMO SIC with intent to breach the rules of DA is the worst thing you can do in Grep..a player remarked to me about why was i trying to get them ban? (i wasn't incidentally , i'm not a grass- unless its to do with racist behaviour ) the truth is if you played fair and within the rules noone can berate you as a cheat ever..but cheating is cheating and if you do cheat you may not get caught by the Mods but you don't have a morale leg to stand on nor critise any other player for their legal in game actions. I hope (although i doubt) that anyone doing underhand gaming will stop if not in this server , in future ones..and for now i will hold my peace and let i lie, but we all know as it has been shared around and evidence collated that we have the goods on you, so no more hypocritical morality please.
Meanwhile in EN 82 -i posted on the forum about my new alliance and it appears Red, The GM and GGN have followed me into said alliance under different IGN's(except The Gm who is flawlessly honest )are they allies, are they interested in speed 3 conquest lol! or is their a hidden agenda?? can it be i have gained Grep Groupies -i think i'll play along for a while.. but really its an insult to my intelligence to think i would nt figure it out..'Blood devil', and some of the worst Serbo croat spelling i have ever seen (still aint figured out google translate GGn? ) so i hope to see your revenge plot unfold and collapse - some times it aint arrogance lads -you'll never beat me or trick me, doing this too long.. which is why i didn't want to give away my IGN from EN81.. but i did promise.
So in summary
Genuine good luck all in WW, its a pain and a horrible way to end the game, but you all have a chance depending on how you react to the various merges. Tips i suppose go for 7 wonders off the bat - if you have spies , well now is the only time that spies are actually useful to winning the game rather than a war ..anyone who aint done ww before its all about resource delivery and favour. active eplayers from many time zones, island managers, max your markets and don't forget losing a city is painful at ww, truly soul crushing. it has been fun one and all i enjoyed my limited time here , i hope to see some of you again in 18 months,perhaps inno will of turned into a charity by then and we can all afford to play -who knows.

1. Best 3 attackers in Herm are : GP -obviously.. Effinel..totally under rated player -i would take him in any alliance, any server, any speed. And LisaLJ - the biggest loss to En 72 player came up as a noob, not even massively active but is by far the most organised and aggressive player i have ever seen in 5 years of grep, a pleasure playing in the same alliance as her - followed order to a tee makes an OP planners job straight forward, again i would take her to any server.
2. Best 3 defenders in Herm are : KKW - Lethal game knowledge and too active to be stopped unless by a whole coalition, remarkable defender. HMNAMANAM - never get the order right in the name , no idea what it stands for -great sniper. Jonny the B frustratingly impossible to provoke, i actually degraded myself trying to get this guy to fall into a trap - solid organised defender-is a candidate for all rounder but i think defence is where he proved to me his game -one of those players you look at and say 'we won't even bother attacking him anymore ' Special mention must go to Principe salvatore -actually he is the best defender in herm really but isn't of the size that its obvious..unreal game knowledge , never flustered -wanted him in OL so badly.
3. All -rounders : I have to say Froggy but you don't really know the guy like i do so i'll keep it FT Herm related
Exo -Pains me to say it cos i have a Voodoo doll of him i repeatedly stab in the Testes with a hot pin but he is someone you want on your side.
Moshey2 no finer all rounder in En72 - wasted at the defunct OL and deserves the crown more than anyone here. 1 man army.
Gondriga - again one you want on your side - class act
Best moment in Herm - I'll pick 2.. first was Red Christmas, without doubt my favourite episode in Grep ever. Zt were beaten finally by a couple of op's and were finished, all the players choose TD, but behind the scenes TE/Pan were working Overtime.. but Zt weren't actually finished, the war resumed players left TD players stayed, players went to Apoca it changed from minute to minute -one moment i know all in PAN were near conceding defeat the way the map looked, next it was all on its head..brilliant drama.
Other favourite moment was one silly mini Op with OL against DJ..silly because it wasn't important, just a 1 city op on a previous ZT island i had been working overtime on and slowly recaptured city by city but DJ held out.and it summed up why i like the work ethic(i won't be a hypocrite here )and some of the players in OL.. i got a spy report and the revolt was in he was stacked and it looked hopeless but bang from no where ever player started sending nuke after nuke and the timings were fantastic..best moment because i was deflated then elated.

Like the others, I will say it was a nice edition and I am sad to see it end. Thanks for putting a paper out and good luck in your deployment.

-we are letting in TD spies to help make their efforts in the war more competitive
-killer's actions were also made worse by the fact he knew it was a harbour check...and kept everything in the harbour anyway

I was slightly concerned that red, ggn , and the gm squirmed into my alliance under new IGN in en 82 .. then i saw they have brought Blarg too!!! Ha ha ha! Anyone else? I'm prepping my def, for a Blarg Cs (i.e. - building 1 Bri ) is he allowed to attack in en82 or does he need Permission.. ? Remember lads you only have til tuesday -tick tock -oh and its speed 3/2 conquest not speed 1 revolt..one at a time or all at once i don't mind -this will make the best PnP ever !!! God i was feeling a little guilty about sinope but this is fantastic.

Although this is a time when us Grep purists tend to say 'Ah boo, i hate The Age of Wonders, its so boring etc etc' i can honestly hold my hand on my empty cold shell where my heart used to be and say whoever wins this WW will be an alliance worthy of Grep legends on any server. In NO server has anyone experienced such twists , such turns , such classic PnP and an ever changing environment and endured. I take my hat off to you all, in some ways you are brilliant, in others just lucky to of played the best server in Grep history. Now i am sure pureist from Gamma, Troy, Alpha (*ahem*), Farsala will argue otherwise but they are wrong. Don't let me down now keep it coming. Incidentally if you want to know why WW are fun and still don't get it, wait til you see what is about to happen to everything you thought you knew about Grep.

As most of you know i have been playing a wee while, most of Td think i am bias towards Apoca, i will give you that but what has happened today deserves the united respect of the server. It would of been easy for Apoca to bend to the will of a few strong players but they understood the most important thing about grep. No, not loyalty, or a principled stand. Not sticking by your mates or doing the greater good..not resisting the urge to surrender to bullies or minority opinions. The most important thing in Grep is being prepared to do what it takes to win, now just because the actions you are about to see in compass all the above values DO NOT get them confused. Exo, GP and Nublex were not team players, they threatened 120 players, tried to impose their will thinking they were bigger than an alliance and more importantly were as 3 players collectively more important than all of the alliance put together. They made rash choices, kicked players, caused OL to quit, tried to get players they disliked for personal reasons booted and acted abhorrently and selfishly in the misguided belief they were indispensable :
Whatever and however we may joke i think this is brave and brilliant. I hope you would all do the same under similar threat. Players no matter how big do not win servers. It is ALWAYS the alliance. Always.

I asked TD/ Apoca to come forth and say howdy ..CALL IT A 'STATE OF THE UNION' address without the standing ovations at the end of every sentence (Americans please explain this to me, normally we only give a standing ovation to a politician if we are burying them)

I was going to run a little PnP piece on an altercation Froggy had with Red. At Froggies request it will go no further and a Clear warning has been issued to TD that SHOULD be heeded by its council at all costs. If it is my word is given and will not be broken may my hair fall out and my balls fall off. anyway this server will go the way it is suppost to but all of you take a minute to realise what you have achieved here . Noone thought it would get here (am i wrong Arshark??!), Thru bitterness and so many twists you remaining Greppers have stayed the course now finish the job.
If you decided you hate each other at least respect one and other -, yes Sir Cod has a Marmite personality (EG -half the people hate him, the other half want to put a knife in him ) yes GGn can be stand offish and red is volatile.. I can go on and on.
Forget all that has happened you are all champions for being here and i would sincerely take anyone of you into any server in Grep against any opposition be it the original ELITE, The Black Death Imperium (froggy and i thank you),The syndicate or eviction notice you are every bit as good as any of them/us regardless of the Bs i feed you, everyone of you can play well and give me or anyone a game. Well done and never stop fighting for your side..
Sunset here is perfect tonight maybe its the local (illegal) moonshine, maybe its the proximity to destruction and death but you all rock. Well done one and all.

As TD finds itself on the verge of WWs, we find ourselves in pole position to win this world. The reason for this is the same reason we have lasted through every adversity we have come up against, our members loyalty and willingness to give everything for the team.
ZT signed their own death warrant with their call for the whole server to ally against them and their pigheadedness was rewarded with the destruction of their alliance as a real contender.
The Exiles schemed and lied their way to the merge with Pandemonium, doing their best to ruin TD's reputation but failing to break our team spirit. It seems that their Ego's will now ruin Apocalypse's chances to win WWs.
Pandemonium fell into the trap of believing The Exiles' lies and quite simply chose to ally themselves with a group who are willing to crush their chances of victory to further their own personal agendas.
OL were an unbelievably strong group for a long time but self destructed when Jamo left, such is the power of the man responsible for more players leaving a world than any other in grepo history.
As for TD, the merge with TS is complete and we are fully prepared for the age of wonders. I'd like to give an honourable mention to TS here, they were never considered a major player in Hermonassa but they were not the academy some thought but a strong, supportive partner.
The age of wonders will be starting soon and I'd just like to say well done to everyone who has made it here in all the alliances. We've seen many people come and go and there have been a lot of ups and downs, some great characters, great wars and some fantastic stories that I will remember for a long time. Friend or enemy, you've made Hermonassa an enjoyable year and a half of complete madness.

:surely everyone who comes out here is aware of the drama which unfolded in the past week and a half or so, so for me to pretend that nothing happened would be disingenuous. Many things have been said, many accusations levelled. The true story in any act of treachery is always complicated. Some of the facts were presented and it is up to readers to believe what they like from that. Sometimes such things take a bit of time to resolve themselves, so it would be foolish to think the final chapter in this has been written or that everyone knows the full story. That the Jamovic Times won't be around to cover it all is a loss for everyone.
As for the upcoming stage of the game, it should be interesting. No post by the founder of ArchiLeaks would be complete without some statistics, so with that in mind, we are all aware of TD's abysmal performance in the war against the ZT-Apoc juggernaut (combined, from December 12th, 488 city losses to only 143 city gains as of 2-3 days ago), but will that carry over into WW's or will TD show us a face we haven't seen? Only time will tell. Although TD has been the butt of our jokes for a long time, we are not taking anything for granted. Maybe they will finally find something in the game at which to excel that doesn't require a cloak of darkness.
Apocalypse looks forward to continuing to work closely with our brothers-and-sisters-in-arms at ZT as the days of this server draw to their end (which, on a personal note, I hope are sooner rather than later).

You have lied and cheated your way through this world since the day your sad alliance formed. You have had former members of your alliance insult you on this very forum because they wanted nothing to do with your two faced tactics. Even now you are still up to your tricks and lies. Why do you think the Original Mates Of Gaul want nothing to do with you anymore.
If there was a crown for being the dirtiest bunch of lying stinking cheats this world would have been won by your alliance along time ago. All you have done is try and turn every alliance against each other. While making out you were everyones closest allies. It was your alliance that went crying for help from everyone else when we turned on you. You turned the world against us because you hadn't a chance of ever stopping us by yourselves. I'm just glad that the others in this world realized exactly what you were like before this world ended. And please if you want to try and insult anyone in this world try looking within your own alliance first before starting on anyone else. Cause lets face facts if anyone else was as bad as you think they are they would be on your council and not in another alliance.

Hermonassa right? The one where jonny the b's leadership was so bad he took down the number 1 alliance that seemed destined to run away with the server. That's the one I'm talking about.
It's been paranoia all the way from you lot. I know you'll never believe a word we say but we have always approached everything with complete honesty. Only those who are part of TD's council will know that is true. Which former alliance members insulted us on this forum? I don't recall who that was.
I'm still trying to work that out myself. We gave them free reign to recruit anyone, to take cities anywhere, offered them protection if they came under attack and sent them resources to help them grow. We never attacked them, never stopped them from doing whatever they wanted. The only reason we offered them this is because the server numbers were dropping and we wanted to keep people playing so we could get to WWs.

YOU turned the world against you. You got so cocky that you actually asked the whole world to ally against you. You seem to have forgotten that one unbelievably stupid move that turned Hermonassa upside down.
I think we can safely say the current events within Apocalypse have shown who the real negative force in the coalition was
